Sea Turtle Guardian Project
Trip Highlights:
This trip is built around real conservation work alongside Costa Rica's sea turtle protection efforts. You'll walk the beach searching for fresh nests, help relocate eggs to safer ground, spend a service day repairing the rescue beds that protect them, and, when timing allowstake part in a hatch and release, watching tiny hatchlings make their first run to the Pacific because of work your group helped do.
Between conservation days, you'll explore black sand beaches, ride horses in the jungle, and make choclate with a local artist. Evenings are spent sharing fresh, local meals with your group and unwinding poolside as the jungle hums around you.
Sea Turtle Guardian Project | Southern Costa Rica
Join us for an amazing week of hands-on conservation work during sea turtle nesting and hatching season. You'll be working alongside a local sea turtle conservation project, walking the beaches at the moments that matter most for these endangered creatures, helping the local rescue with nest rehabilitation, and assisting with hatchings as needed.
Your adventure continues with bucket list items such as beach and jungle horseback rides in search of sloths, monkeys, and monkeys, a two mile wildlife trek with a local naturalist, and a chocolate making class. All meals are locally sourced and prepared with paradise postcard images right outside your front door.
You'll stay in a boutique oceanfront hotel where the jungle meets the sea, eat like a local, and spend your days exploring one of the most biodiverse corners of the planet. This is an adventure of a lifetime, led by local guides and immersing you in local culture, and leaving the beach a little better than you found it.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change, but we also want to be transparent about how our retreat bookings work.
When you reserve your spot, we immediately secure your accommodations, activities, and transportation by paying non-refundable deposits to our local partners—the hotels, tour operators, farms, and guides who make this retreat possible. These commitments are made on your behalf to guarantee your experience.
Because of these non-refundable deposits and reservations, we are unable to offer refunds once payment is received. Your payment locks in real reservations with real people and businesses throughout Costa Rica.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers trip cancellations for unexpected circumstances. This protects your investment and gives you peace of mind. We recommend checking out soventure.com for travel insurance options.
If you have questions about this policy before booking, please reach out, we're happy to discuss it with you.
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to adventuring with you in Costa Rica!
